On Thursday, January 1st we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass Times: Vigil Mass Wednesday at 6:00pm. Thursday Holy Day Masses: 8am, 10am and Noon in Spanish.

This Friday we have First Friday Eucharistic Adoration beginning at 9:00am—closing Benediction at 5:00pm. Sign-up for your time.

Please note: The church office will be closed on January 1st but will be open on Friday, January 2nd.

Please keep a copy of the bulletin as it includes information for two weeks. There will be “NO” bulletin published next weekend.


ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR DEC. 20/21

“No” CYO meeting this Sunday. Members are encouraged to attend “An Old Fashioned Christmas”.

Still time to pick up Christmas Flower Envelopes. They can be found on all exit tables.

Confessions will be heard this Tuesday at 5:00pm.

If you have not done so, please go to the Parish Hall and pick up your 2009 Contribution Envelopes and save the church the expense of mailing. Also in the Parish Hall are 2009 Calendars.

PLEASE NOTE: There will not be a Noon Mass on Christmas Morning.

We hope you are planning to attend “An Old Fashioned Christmas”, our beautiful Parish Christmas Program –THIS Sunday at 6:00pm in the church. Support the efforts of your fellow parishioners and treat yourself at the same time. If you would like to order a DVD of the program, pick up an order form at any exit.

Please note: This Thursday there will be NO evening Mass at 6pm. Because of the priests schedules on that day, Masses will be at 6:00AM and 8:15AM.

Christmas Flower Envelopes can be found on all exit tables. Please print names clearly.

“Old Fashioned Christmas” practice this Sunday—4-6pm.
Make plans to attend this beautiful Parish Christmas Program next Sunday at 6:00pm in the church.

St. Paul School Play, “Surfin’ Santa” is Tuesday at 9am and Thursday at 7pm.
Both performances are in the gym.

Children’s Choir and Contemporary Choir Practice TUESDAY, 6:30-8:00pm.

If you would like to be a Lector, Eucharistic Minister or Altar Server Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning, please go to the Parish Hall to sign-up.

Also in the Parish Hall are 2009 Contribution Envelopes and 2009 Calendars. Please take one calendar per family.

Ravioli Sale in the KC Hall after 5pm and 10am Masses.

Old Fashioned Christmas practice this Sunday—4-6pm.

Children’s Choir and Contemporary Choir Practice TUESDAY, 6:30-8:00pm.

Today if you did not bring your gift for the GIVING TREE, please bring it to the church office NO LATER than TUESDAY.

On Monday, Dec. 8, we celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Conception. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses are at 8:15am and 6:00pm.

Join our Spanish community in celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. 5:00am—MANANITAS 7:00PM – Outdoor Procession followed by Mass in the church and celebration in the gym.

Next Saturday, Dec. 13th, at 9:00am, you are invited to help decorate the church for Chirstmas. That same evening at 6:00pm we have our WASSAILING PARTY—OUR PARISH POT-LUCK CHRISTMAS PARTY.
Bring a dish and join the fun.

Make plans to attend “An Old Fashioned Christmas” in our church on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 6pm.

Beginning next Sunday, Dec. 14 we will have monthly Rosary at 9:35 am before 10am Mass which will be led by our Confirmation Students.

PRE students and teachers are collecting money for their Christmas Outreach Project where they make sack lunches for the homeless. Please be generous.
