Fr. Pugh’s Scripture Study class about THE BOOK OF PSALMS continues THIS MONDAY in the Parish Hall from 6:30-8:00pm.

You are invited to join any of the study groups teaching about the New Roman Missal.

We have First Friday Eucharistic Adoration this Friday beginning after the 8:15am Mass with closing Benediction at 5pm. Sign-up at the South-west exit for your special time with the Lord.

We have First Saturday Holy Hour to pray for Vocation from 7-8am.

Memphis Life Chain will be next Sunday, October 3 from 2-3pm. Stand for one hour with hopes to change hearts regarding abortion.

Women of St. Paul: Prayerfully consider making a weekend retreat at Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center—October 15-17. This retreat is for St. Paul and the Jackson Deanery. Give yourself this special treat and RETREAT!

CYO will meet this Sunday at 6pm in the Parish Hall.

We continue Fr. Pugh’s Scripture Study class: “The Book of Psalms—Why the Psalms remain perhaps the most popular book in the Bible.” THIS MONDAY in the Parish Hall from 6:30-8:00pm. Even if you missed the first class, come and join us for a most informative evening.

Please see the bulletin insert regarding study groups teaching about the New Roman Missal. Anyone can join any group that fits your schedule.

The PARISH CLUB (now named The Golden Angels) will meet this Tuesday at 11:30am with Mass, Pot-Luck Lunch and Guest Speaker Hunter Johnston—Topic: The History of Old Whitehaven.

We are happy to announce the appointment of Bishop Peter Sartain to the position of Archbishop Elect of Seattle, Washington.
We are so happy for him and his family and know that his mother, Mrs. Catherine Sartain is celebrating in heaven.

Fr. Pugh’s Scripture Study classes begin THIS MONDAY in the Parish Hall from 6:30-8:00pm. The title of the series is:
“The Book of Psalms—Why the Psalms remain perhaps the most popular book in the Bible.” Come and learn and enjoy!

This Friday in our St. Paul Gym we will “Dance The Night Away” at the Emily Elizabeth Hendryx Memorial Scholarship DANCE.
There will be music from all eras—something for everyone. Don’t dance? Cannot attend? Donations would be most appreciated. Go to the back of church where you can make your donations or make a reservation (do not have to pay today). Help us honor the memory of our 19 year old parishioner, Emily, whose life was cut short by a tragic car accident.

The Friends of the Poor Walk will be held at Christian Brothers High School on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10am til Noon. Go to the back of church to register. A representative is here to answer any questions.

Sign-up in the back of church to join one of the small groups which begin on September 15th .

Fr. Pugh’s Scripture Study classes –“The Book of Psalms—Why the Psalms remain perhaps the most popular book in the Bible.” begins September 13th and continues for 5 Mondays in the Parish Hall from 6:30-8:00pm.

Pick up Pork Orders after 10am Mass this Sunday in the KC Hall.

PLEASE NOTE: There will only be one Mass on Monday, Labor Day. This Mass will be at 9:00am.

It is almost time for the Emily Elizabeth Hendryx Memorial Scholarship Dance. All are invited to come and “Dance the Night Away” on Friday, September 17th in our St. Paul Gym.
